Dr Xavier interviewed as invited expert

In September 2008 Dr Xavier appeared on national television as an invited expert on cosmetic medical treatments on the Lesley Ash Face-to-Face documentary.

It was the first time that Lesley Ash spoke publically about her experience of having injectable treatments and what went wrong for her.

Lesley wanted to highlight to people considering treatments that you do need to choose a practitioner carefully and do your research. In doing so, she interviewed Dr Xavier's at one of his training courses where he trains only qualified medical practitioners in cosmetic treatments.

Dr Xavier firmly believes that, for a patient's reassurance and from a safety point of view, such treatments should only be carried out by someone with a medical qualification.
