Many people have problems with their weight and body shape. It is a very common problem and often results in a lifelong battle. In addition, being overweight inevitably leads to poor health. Conditions such as; high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol often result and can lead on to more serious illnesses such as heart disease and strokes.

Traditional diets
Until now there have been no very satisfactory solutions. With usual methods of dieting, we lower our body’s metabolic rate (the rate at which we burn calories). This means that weight loss becomes progressively more difficult and we often reach a point where we tend to become ‘stuck’.

What is Alizonne Therapy®?
Initially, several detailed medical investigations are performed by our doctor. These include important blood tests, accurate computerised measurements of your personal resting metabolic rate and detailed measurements of your body composition.

1 - Alizonne® Ultrasound Therapy.
Treatments are given weekly which break down the fat stores under the skin. This is the same type of technology that is used in hospitals to break up kidney stones, but the frequency and energy used by the ultrasound in the Alizonne Therapy are specifically tuned for the treatment of subcutaneous fat cells. The application of this device can only be used under medical guidance.

2 - Skin and Connective Tissue Therapy.
This is also given weekly, which is carried out using specialised equipment and protocols specially designed for this purpose. The skin is vigorously but painlessly stimulated with precise and specific techniques. The effect of this is to stimulate cells in the skin (fibroblast cells) which are then activated to rapidly produce new collagen and elastin fibres and this causes contraction, firming, increase in elasticity and tightening of the skin.

Hardened, calcified, bumpy tissue under the surface of the skin is also broken down by this treatment, resulting in the texture of the layers under the skin becoming much smoother. The lymphatic drainage of the connective tissue is also improved and increased so that the fat broken down by the ultrasound therapy is more rapidly removed to then be metabolised.

3 - Alizonne® Nutritional Therapy.
This is prescribed by our doctor, and is uniquely and precisely custom-formulated. This completely alters the control of the body's metabolism to cause a more rapid and constant breakdown of stored fat. The patient's eating plan is accurately followed through several phases and this results in metabolic changes to the body which cause very predictable and continuous weight loss. The metabolic rate is kept high during this treatment and is not suppressed as often occurs with other means of weight loss.

Important supplements are also prescribed to maintain the body's chemistry in optimum balance whilst it is rapidly breaking down and burning up the stored fat.

The fat released from the ultrasound treatments is important as it provides an additional source of fuel for use by the body as energy during the treatment. Additionally, food must be taken at least five times per day and the nutrition and eating plan is precisely formulated to keep blood sugar levels completely stable at all times therefore very few symptoms of hunger, weakness, discomfort or fatigue are experienced during this treatment.

On reaching your ideal weight, we will stabilise your weight at its new level and then, with the assistance of accurate measurements of your body's metabolism, guide you through long term maintenance with personal monthly follow-up appointments.
